Summary

Nixon Projects is seeking an experienced Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our expanding team, primarily in our Brooks, Alberta location. The successful candidate would be a highly skilled, safety-focused mechanic with strong hydraulic knowledge and a commitment to high-quality work.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty equipment and machinery
  • Perform hydraulic system troubleshooting and repairs (hydraulic knowledge is essential)
  • Complete routine maintenance and inspections
  • Document repairs and maintenance accurately
  • Work safely and efficiently in a team and independent environment

Driver's Abstract Requirement

A 5-year Commercial Driver's Abstract is required prior to employment. It must be:

  • Current, or dated within the last 14 days, and
  • Provided for review before hiring is finalized
