Job Description

We're a fast-paced and growing shop looking for a full time Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic who takes pride in their craft. If you're passionate about diagnostics and repair, enjoy tackling new challenges every day, and want to be part of a supportive team, this is the place for you.

What You'll Do:

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to keep equipment safe and reliable.
  • Complete repairs on engines, brakes, suspensions, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
  • Maintain accurate work orders and documentation.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and teammates to ensure timely, high-quality service.
  • Contribute to a safe, organized, and clean shop environment.

What We're Looking For:

  • Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic certification.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with solid experience in diagnostics and repair.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-focused culture.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract (Class 1 or 3 an asset).
  • Safety-focused mindset and commitment to quality workmanship.

Qualifications
  • Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic Certificate (Red Seal an asset).
  • CVIP Certification – preferred, but not required.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean abstract (Class 1 or 3 an asset).
  • Strong knowledge of diagnostics, repair, and preventative maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Safety-first mindset with strong attention to detail.
