We are seeking a Property Manager
to oversee the management and administration of a
Syndicate of Co-ownership
. This role is focused on the efficient operation, maintenance, and financial oversight of the property, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing exceptional service to co-owners.

Responsibilities

  • Administration & Governance:
  • Enforce co-ownership bylaws and regulations.
  • Coordinate and attend board meetings and general assemblies.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-ups on action items.
  • Financial Management:
  • Develop and oversee annual budgets and financial planning.
  • Monitor expenses, reserve funds, and operating accounts.
  • Coordinate with accountants for financial reporting and tax filings.
  • Manage collection of fees and ensure timely payments of invoices.
  • Building Maintenance & Operations:
  • Oversee maintenance schedules, repairs, and service contracts.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper upkeep of common areas.
  • Manage relationships with contractors, vendors, and service providers.
  • Resident Relations & Communication:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for co-owners.
  • Address inquiries, complaints, and conflict resolution professionally.
  • Provide regular updates and notices to residents regarding property matters.
  • Legal & Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with local condominium laws and regulations.
  • Handle insurance policies, claims, and risk management.
  • Assist with legal matters related to the co-ownership.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Property management experience, preferably in a condominium is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of local real estate and condominium laws.
  • Financial management skills, including budgeting and expense tracking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle conflict resolution and maintain professional relationships.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Bilingual (English and French) is an asset.
  • Certification in property management) is a plus.
