Software QA Lead (Remote)

Experience: 6+ years | Type: Full-time

We're seeking a Software QA Lead to drive the quality strategy across multiple projects — including WebApps, APIs, and back-end data processing. You'll lead a small QA team, establish scalable testing frameworks, and ensure consistent quality through the full development lifecycle and beyond deployment.

Responsibilities

Lead QA planning and execution across multiple projects.

Mentor QA engineers and promote a culture of quality and collaboration.

- Define and maintain test plans, automation frameworks, and metrics.
- Perform and oversee manual and automated testing (REST, GraphQL, UI, and performance).
Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and DevOps for smooth, high-quality releases.

- Conduct post-deployment testing and communicate results and feedback to stakeholders.
- Manage bug tracking and prioritization using Jira and version control with Git.
Champion product quality, reliability, and user experience.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 6+ years in QA, including 2+ years in a lead or senior role.
  • Strong experience with APIs (REST & GraphQL), Postman, and automation tools.
  • Familiar with PHP or JavaScript for scripting.
  • Knowledge of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and CI/CD practices.
    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with TestRail and Selenium.
  • Exposure to performance testing and cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD (GitLab CI, Jenkins).

The pay range for this role is:
