One of Canada's oldest and most respected family-owned hardwood flooring companies is seeking a Sales Consultant (Client & Project Management) to join our growing team.

This is a sales-driven role focused on building long-term relationships with builders, designers, and architects, while managing projects from concept through completion. If you are comfortable selling high-end products, enjoy working directly with clients, and take pride in delivering exceptional results, this role offers significant opportunity for growth.

We partner with exclusive European hardwood flooring brands to offer our clients high-quality products, supported by a full-service experience that includes design consultations, in-house installation and refinishing, and bespoke millwork for stair treads and nosings. We employ some of the city's most skilled technicians and millworkers, ensuring unparalleled craftsmanship in every detail. Our expertise in complex, one-of-a-kind hardwood flooring solutions sets us apart in the Vancouver market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct client consultations and on-site assessments, taking measurements and providing expert technical guidance to support informed product selection

  • Create detailed project quotations using precise calculations and takeoffs to deliver client-specific solutions

  • Develop and cultivate a client portfolio of builders and designers; maintain strong, ongoing client relationships and identify opportunities for repeat and referral business

  • Apply in-depth product knowledge to advise clients on correct installation methods and refinishing options

  • Take ownership of project coordination to deliver a smooth, end-to-end client experience from initial consultation through to final delivery

Who You Are:

  • A self-motivated, organized sales professional

  • Skilled in consultative sales of high-end, design-driven products

  • Confident in engaging with builders, designers, and discerning clients

  • Detail-oriented with strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Experience in flooring, building materials, construction sales, or other design-focused industries is an asset

  • Must hold a valid BC driver's license and have access to a personal vehicle
