We're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Professional Baker to join our team and help us continue creating products our customers love.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate is experienced in sourdough bread baking and has a deep appreciation for artisanal baking processes. You'll take an active role in daily bread and pastry production—from mixing and shaping to baking and finishing. This position requires consistency, precision, and creativity, along with a collaborative spirit and commitment to maintaining the bakery's high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake a variety of sourdough breads and baked goods to company standards.
  • Manage dough fermentation, shaping, scoring, and baking processes.
  • Contribute to recipe development and seasonal menu ideas.
  • Maintain product quality and consistency throughout production.
  • Oversee or assist in daily prep, packaging, and labeling of baked items.
  • Ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth, efficient operations.

Qualifications

  • Proven professional baking experience, ideally with sourdough or artisan bread.
  • Strong understanding of fermentation, hydration, and baking techniques.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent teamwork, time management, and communication skills.
  • Flexibility with early morning shifts and weekend availability.
  • Passion for artisanal bread, baked goods, and continuous learning in the craft.
