The Urban Arborist Inc. is seeking new members to join our team that share our passion for arboriculture and to extend our proven track record of 10+ years providing excellence to our client roster.

Located near Hwy 427 / Hwy 7. We are a locally owned and operated company with a tight knit crew that has been operating in the GTA offering an extensive range of arboriculture services. Minimum requirements:

  • Valid Ontario "G" Licence
  • ISA Certified
  • Full time availability
  • Minimum 5 years climbing experience
  • Strong motivated team based worth-ethic
  • Must have experience as site foreman or crew lead
  • Demonstrable understanding of all pruning methodologies as detailed in 'An Illustrated Guide to Pruning' by Gilman, Edward F. as well as conform to Ontario and ISA industry standards and Arboriculture Best Work Practices.
  • Be able to execute and delegate detailed job directives with crew effectively, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality consistently.
  • Play an active roll in maintaining a positive workplace atmosphere.

Special consideration for candidates who have experience with:

  • Liquid Deep Root Fertilization
  • Air Spade Operation
  • Sprayer operation and regulation
  • Stump Grinder experience (hydraulic and manual driven)
  • Planting and transplanting experience
  • Extensive Felling experience
  • Experience pruning Ornamental and Fruit trees
