We are seeking a creative, data-driven, and growth-focused
MarTech & Inbound Marketing Specialist

to attract, engage, and convert new audiences across Prepr's programs and initiatives. This role is key to building awareness, generating high-quality inbound leads, and optimizing the digital journey from first touchpoint to conversion.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in marketing automation, CRM configuration and management, and content strategy, with a strong understanding of how to use technology to scale impact. They will leverage tools, analytics, and storytelling to create compelling campaigns, nurture leads through the funnel, and support Prepr's mission of connecting learners, employers, and educators through innovative digital experiences.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Develop and execute inbound marketing campaigns that attract and convert prospective learners, employers, and partners.
  • Manage and optimize marketing automation workflows, email nurture sequences, and CRM integrations to enhance lead engagement and conversion.
  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance metrics to inform data-driven decisions and drive continuous improvement for the growth team.
  • Collaborate with the Growth and Product teams to ensure seamless lead handoff and consistent messaging across all touchpoints.
  • Conduct keyword research and implement SEO strategies to increase visibility and organic traffic.
  • Utilize A/B testing and user journey mapping to improve conversion rates across campaigns and digital assets.
  • Support the design and deployment of marketing funnels that promote Prepr programs, events, and initiatives.
  • Stay up to date with marketing technology trends and recommend new tools or processes to enhance automation and efficiency.
  • Champion a test-and-learn mindset to continually refine messaging, targeting, and channel performance.

  • At least 2-3 years of professional experience in digital marketing, inbound marketing, or marketing technology roles
  • Expertise using tools such as Outreach, Salesforce, and Apollo
  • Working knowledge of SEO, SEM, and keyword research tools
  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of HTML/CSS, website content management systems, and landing page builders
  • Knowledge and experience with CMSs like WordPress, Webflow, and Shopify

Bonus Points If You:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business, or a related field
  • Are familiar or have experience with agile methodologies, including Scaled Agile Framework
  • Have worked in a scaling start-up or growing small-business environment

What Success Looks Like:

First 30 Days – Foundation & Immersion

  • Fully onboarded into Prepr's mission, brand voice, and program portfolio.
  • Audit existing marketing funnels, CRM setup, and automation workflows to identify quick wins and improvement opportunities.
  • Gain proficiency in Prepr's core MarTech stack (Outreach, Salesforce, Apollo, CMS tools, analytics platforms).
  • Establish baselines for key inbound marketing metrics (traffic, conversion, engagement).
  • Collaborate with the Growth team to understand target audiences and current campaign performance.

90 Days – Execution & Optimization

  • Launch or optimize at least one inbound campaign with measurable results in lead generation or engagement.
  • Streamline CRM segmentation and automation workflows to improve lead nurture efficiency.
  • Produce high-quality content (blogs, newsletters, or landing pages) aligned with current program goals.
  • Implement basic A/B testing and SEO improvements to boost conversion and organic reach.
  • Deliver data-driven performance reports with insights and actionable next steps.
  • Strengthen collaboration across Product, Delivery and Growth teams to ensure message consistency and seamless lead flow.

6 Months – Growth & Impact

  • Demonstrate measurable growth in inbound leads, conversion rates, and/or audience engagement.
  • Design and manage scalable, automated marketing funnels for multiple Prepr programs.
  • Implement advanced personalization and segmentation strategies to improve campaign ROI.
  • Lead experimentation and optimization cycles informed by analytics and user journey insights.
  • Contribute strategic recommendations for new tools, channels, or processes that enhance efficiency and reach.
  • Be recognized as the internal go-to expert for inbound strategy and MarTech innovation.
