Role Description
We're looking for a hands-on accounting and operations leader to join our growing team and take full ownership of the financial and administrative engine behind our portfolio. The Manager of Accounting & Operations will serve as the operational backbone of the company, owning bookkeeping, payroll, office management, and team coordination. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, systems-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced real estate environment.

Core Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping across all company entities
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including rent collection reconciliation
- Prepare monthly financial statements, bank reconciliations, and variance reports
- Coordinate with external accountant for tax filings, year-end closings, and audit preparation
- Manage expense tracking, compliance, and audit-ready financial records
Payroll & HR Administration
- Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees including property management staff
- Administer employee benefits, deductions, and remittances (CNESST, source deductions, etc.)
- Maintain employee files, vacation accruals, leave requests, and onboarding/offboarding documentation
- Track mileage reporting and expense reimbursement submissions for compliance
Office & Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, vendor relationships, and subscriptions
- Coordinate team schedules, meetings, and internal communications
- Support CEO with calendar management, investor correspondence, and administrative tasks
- Maintain and improve internal systems and workflows (ticketing, CRM, document management)
- Serve as point of contact for insurance renewals, corporate filings, and acquisition support documentation
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or office/operations management
- Strong proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or equivalent)
- Experience processing payroll and managing source deductions in Quebec
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Bilingual: fluent in French and English (oral and written)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
Preferred
- Experience in real estate, property management, or asset management
- Familiarity with CRM systems, ticketing platforms, and project management tools
- College diploma or degree in accounting, business administration, or related field
- Knowledge of Quebec labour standards and CNESST requirements

Description du poste
Nous recherchons un(e) leader en comptabilité et opérations, prêt(e) à prendre en charge l'ensemble du moteur financier et administratif derrière notre portefeuille. Le/La Gestionnaire, Comptabilité et Opérations sera le pilier opérationnel de l'entreprise, responsable de la tenue de livres, de la paie, de la gestion de bureau et de la coordination d'équipe. Le/La candidat(e) idéal(e) est rigoureux(se), orienté(e) vers les systèmes et à l'aise dans un environnement immobilier au rythme soutenu.

Responsabilités principales
Comptabilité et tenue de livres
- Gérer la tenue de livres complète pour l'ensemble des entités de l'entreprise
- Traiter les comptes payables et recevables, incluant le rapprochement de la perception des loyers
- Préparer les états financiers mensuels, les rapprochements bancaires et les rapports d'écarts
- Coordonner avec le comptable externe pour les déclarations fiscales, les clôtures de fin d'année et la préparation aux audits
- Assurer le suivi des dépenses, la conformité et le maintien de dossiers financiers prêts pour vérification
Paie et administration RH
- Traiter la paie bimensuelle pour l'ensemble des employés, y compris le personnel de gestion immobilière
- Administrer les avantages sociaux, les retenues et les remises (CNESST, retenues à la source, etc.)
- Tenir à jour les dossiers des employés, les cumuls de vacances, les demandes de congé et la documentation d'intégration/départ
- Assurer le suivi des rapports de kilométrage et des demandes de remboursement de dépenses
Gestion de bureau et des opérations
- Superviser les opérations quotidiennes du bureau, les relations avec les fournisseurs et les abonnements
- Coordonner les horaires d'équipe, les réunions et les communications internes
- Soutenir le PDG dans la gestion de l'agenda, la correspondance avec les investisseurs et les tâches administratives
- Maintenir et améliorer les systèmes et processus internes (billetterie, CRM, gestion documentaire)
- Agir comme point de contact pour les renouvellements d'assurance, les dépôts corporatifs et la documentation de soutien aux acquisitions
Qualifications
Requises
- 3+ années d'expérience en tenue de livres, comptabilité ou gestion de bureau/opérations
- Maîtrise des logiciels comptables (QuickBooks, Sage ou équivalent)
- Expérience en traitement de la paie et gestion des retenues à la source au Québec
- Grande capacité d'organisation, souci du détail et aptitude à gérer plusieurs priorités simultanément
- Bilingue : maîtrise du français et de l'anglais (oral et écrit)
- Maîtrise de Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
