Our office is looking to add a new member to our team whose primary role will be working alongside other very skilled optical sales experts in our dispensary.

Prior experience is always an asset, but absolutely not required. We will develop and teach you over time everything you will need to know; we simply need you to be energetic, positive and comfortable in an authentic, information based sales environment that will help people see and look their best.

(please note - this is not a position for an admin assistant/receptionist - we have great people in these roles already).

This is a full time role hrs/wk), Monday-Friday (weekends off)

Key Responsibilities

  • to learn and develop the knowledge and skill set necessary to work in an optical dispensary
  • working in a 1:1 environment and spending the time required with patients to hear and learn what their visual demands are in their work and home life and recommending best solutions
  • over time, learning how to run technology used in the making of glasses

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • General computer proficiency
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time with competing priorities
  • Good critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Approachable, adaptable and coachable
  • Self-motivated with a desire for continual learning and improvement
