Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items with precision and consistency, ensuring high-quality food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your culinary skills while maintaining excellent food safety standards and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to standardized recipes and presentation standards
  • Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
  • Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
  • Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality and safety
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient service during busy hours
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe working environment
  • Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of supply needs

Skills

  • Proven experience in serving, food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or food industry setting
  • Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
  • Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently while maintaining quality standards
  • Excellent kitchen experience with familiarity in various cooking techniques
  • Good organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and cleanliness
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork skills with effective communication abilities
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations and customer service principles is a plus
