The Big Apple is a major tourist attraction in Colborne, Ontario, hosting more than 500,000 guests per year. People come from all over to enjoy our fresh baked apple pies, enjoy a meal at our cafeteria-style restaurant or our famous food trucks, purchase great souvenirs and have fun at our complimentary outdoor activities. With so many visitors it makes for an exciting, fast paced environment where you can grow and learn new skills while working as part of a team

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic **Line Cook **to join our team

**About this opportunity**:
**Your responsibilities**:

- Prepare customers’ orders by cooking, grilling and frying using number of industrial kitchen equipment
- Maintain kitchen sanitation, cleaning and sanitized
- Maintain safe food handling procedures at all times.
- Perform various prep duties (slicing, chopping, packing etc.) meeting proper quantities within a necessary time frame.
- Stock fridges, freezers, shelves and display cases ensuring proper levels of inventory are kept.
- Wash dishes by hand or using a mechanical dishwasher
- Take orders from customers
- Assists in overseeing staff in their daily routines

**Your qualifications**:

- Secondary School Completion or equivalency
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a related field
- Experience working in a busy and fast paced Retail Environment is a MUST
- Ability to Multitask is a necessity
