Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to clients within their own homes. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about helping others, especially seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness. The caregiver will play a vital part in enhancing the quality of life for clients by offering personalized care tailored to their needs, promoting independence, and ensuring safety and comfort in a home setting.

Duties

  • Assist with activities of daily living
  • Provides care including medication administration and health monitoring
  • Support with meal preparation and feeding as needed
  • Perform housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Assist with mobility and transfer activities, including heavy lifting when necessary
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment
  • Work closely with family members and healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans
  • Support clients with activities that promote independence and well-being

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care settings is preferred
  • Basic Knowledge of Computer Applications.
  • Ability to cook food especially Indian cuisine from scratch.
  • Should hold a driving license
  • Strong caregiving skills including medication administration, patient care, and mobility assistance
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required
  • Excellent communication skills and compassionate nature
  • Ability to handle cleaning duties efficiently to maintain a hygienic environment
  • Relevant certifications or training in nursing or caregiving are advantageous but not mandatory
  • Must be reliable, patient-focused, and committed to providing high-quality care
