Overview

Attention Surrey, Delta ,Abbotsford, New Westminster, Burnaby, North Shore and Vancouver caregivers….We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in various care settings all over Lower Mainland. This role is ideal for those passionate about helping others and making a positive impact on their lives. The position involves working closely with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or patients requiring specialized care, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or home care is highly valued. Candidates should be committed to delivering respectful and personalized care in a professional manner.

Duties

  • Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Provide patient care including medication administration and health monitoring
  • Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs
  • Support with light housekeeping tasks like cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe environment
  • Help with mobility and heavy lifting as needed to ensure safety
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a caring environment
  • Assist with activities of daily living for seniors or individuals with disabilities
  • Support clients with dementia or hospice needs with patience and understanding
  • Document care provided and communicate effectively with healthcare teams or family members

Skills

  • Experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments
  • Knowledge of patient care, medication administration, and nursing procedures
  • Familiarity with dementia care, hospice care, and working with people with disabilities
  • Strong caregiving skills combined with compassion and patience
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility support
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members
  • Ability to handle cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining hygiene standards
  • Flexibility to adapt to different care needs and work environments
  • Basic cooking skills for meal preparation tailored to dietary restrictions

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$23.15 per hour
