Kelly Services is hiring on behalf of our client for a
Front Office Assistant
position. This is a permanent, full-time, on-site opportunity within a professional accounting firm. The ideal candidate will be friendly, organized, and professional, with a passion for providing excellent customer service and supporting daily office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to visitors and internal staff.
- Welcome and assist clients, directing them to the appropriate person as needed.
- Answer and direct phone calls; take accurate messages when necessary.
- Perform filing, photocopying, faxing, data entry, and other clerical duties.
- Prepare deposits and process Visa/MasterCard payments in person and over the phone.
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and professional.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, and package deliveries.
- Provide general office assistance and support with additional duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in administrative and reception roles.
- Certificate or diploma in an administrative or related field is an asset.
- Strong
verbal and written communication skills. - Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Caseware and Taxprep considered an asset.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and professionalism.
- Initiative
and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
