As a
Territory Manager
, reporting to the Senior Territory Manager, you will be a valued and important representative of Canada Tire to our customers. Working with a close-knit, highly experienced and respected team in Ontario and Quebec, you will have the opportunity to provide unique value to customers and continue to grow the business in your territory.
At Canada Tire we are relationship-driven and are looking for someone who will work hard to understand our customers' business, create solutions using our brands and programs, and deliver excellent personalized service.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and strategic management of sales activities and programs for the Eastern Ontario and Montreal West territory;
- Business development, prospecting and uncovering new opportunities within existing customer portfolio;
- Attaining growth targets, both units and revenue;
- Working to anticipate customer needs, providing demand insight to Leadership;
- Being a product knowledge expert in our portfolio of brands, understanding market dynamics and communicating advantages and opportunities to customers clearly;
- Be a source of best practices and solutions for our customers, to help them grow their business and be more profitable in the market;
- Maintaining up to date and accurate information in our CRM application.
Success Factors:
- This position requires professional communication in
both English and French - Wholesale B2B sales/account management experience (Tire/automotive industry a plus);
- College degree or bachelors degree in relevant field (business, marketing, administration) is an asset, ongoing commitment to learning and growing a must;
- Working knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, Word, and comfort working in CRM platforms to analyze data and plan activities;
- Collaborative spirit, someone who is a gifted communicator who will work with other operational team members to solve problems and find solutions;
- A people person, who enjoys building relationships, is curious to know more about how someone operates their business, and has an instinct for customer service;
- Demonstrated track record of success and high achievement in sales and business development.

Les responsabilités incluent :
- Planifier et gérer stratégiquement les activités et programmes de vente pour le territoire de l'Est ontarien et de l'Ouest montréalais;
- Développer les affaires, prospecter et découvrir de nouvelles opportunités au sein du portefeuille de clients existant;
- Atteindre les objectifs de croissance, tant en unités qu'en revenus;
- Anticiper les besoins des clients et fournir des perspectives sur la demande à la direction;
- Être un expert des produits de notre portefeuille de marques, comprendre la dynamique du marché et communiquer clairement les avantages et opportunités aux clients;
- Être une source de meilleures pratiques et de solutions pour nos clients, afin de les aider à développer leurs affaires et à être plus rentables sur le marché;
- Maintenir des informations à jour et précises dans notre application CRM.
Facteurs de succès :
- Ce poste requiert une communication professionnelle
en anglais et en français - Expérience en vente interentreprises (B2B) ou en gestion de comptes (l'industrie du pneu/automobile est un atout);
- Diplôme collégial ou baccalauréat dans un domaine pertinent (affaires, marketing, administration) est un atout, engagement continu envers l'apprentissage et le développement est essentiel;
- Connaissance pratique d'Excel, PowerPoint, Word et aisance à travailler avec des plateformes CRM pour analyser les données et planifier les activités;
- Esprit collaboratif, quelqu'un qui est un communicateur doué et qui travaillera avec d'autres membres de l'équipe opérationnelle pour résoudre des problèmes et trouver des solutions;
- Une personne sociable qui aime bâtir des relations, qui est curieuse d'en savoir plus sur la façon dont quelqu'un exploite son entreprise, et qui a un instinct pour le service à la clientèle;
- Bilan démontré de succès et de hautes réalisations en vente et développement des affaires.
