House Manager / Family Assistant

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 20–30 hours per week

Shift: Afternoon to evening

We are seeking a reliable and proactive House Manager / Family Assistant to support a busy family with four independent children (ages 10, 8, and 5-year-old twins). The role focuses on household organization, after-school care, and ensuring smooth daily transitions between two nearby homes (Mom and Dad live close to one another).

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing consistent after-school care and supervision for four children
  • Driving children to and from school, sports practices, and other activities
  • Managing transitions between homes, children are with Mom (Mon–Wed) and Dad (Thurs–Fri and alternating weekends)
  • Preparing family dinners and snacks, and assisting with general kitchen clean-up
  • Household upkeep such as laundry, tidying, light cleaning, and organizational projects
  • Coordinating schedules, communicating with both parents, and ensuring routines run smoothly
  • Offering flexible support for occasional travel or schedule adjustments

Mom is a busy entrepreneur seeking an organized and capable right-hand person who can keep household operations running efficiently, particularly during the afternoon and evening hours. The children are active, kind, and well-adjusted, and thrive in a structured but warm environment.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experienced with school-aged children and managing household logistics
  • Proactive, organized, and dependable with strong communication skills
  • Confident driver with a clean driving record (vehicle provided or mileage reimbursed)
  • Comfortable working collaboratively between two homes
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules or occasional travel

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
