As a Project Manager, and a member of our team you should:
· Strive to be the best person you can be. This doesn't directly relate only to your quality of work, but as a genuine loyal, honest, happy human
· Be friendly, outgoing, and have great people skills Being able to talk to clients and coworkers about more than just work is an important relationship building trait.
· Be computer literate - working in the sign and print industry will require you to use a multitude of softwares such as Adobe PDF, our CRM/workflow software, Excel, etc. The use of Corel Draw or Illustrator is a plus
· Have a drivers license, you may be required to do site visits/checks, meet with clients and oversee installs on larger projects.
· Have a great eye for detail. Details can make or break a project in each and every phase. Not every project is the same, and may require different levels of problem solving from what vinyl should be used all the way to what voltage/amps are required for certain signs. All of which will be taught through experience (your own as well as ours).
· Have a proven experience in event/program project management for print and signage.
· Ability to effectively coordinate specific groups/teams and their functions.
· Be able to work under high pressure and fast paced environments
· Be able to work weekends and evenings - there will be long days and weeks.
· Be well versed in conflict management and must be able to adapt to quick changes.
As a Project Manager, the team will rely on you to take the project from after the final sale, to installation completion. The duties that are included in this (but not limited to) are:
· Attending take-off meetings with the sales rep, production manager, and installation manager.
· Coordinating with our design/pre-press team and client
· Leading the project through the initial design phase through the production and installation process, ensuring all deliverables are met on time, on budget, and top quality.
· Processing city permits and engineering if required
· Coordinating with other trades, subcontractors, GCs, electricians, etc.
· Create detailed work orders with our workflow software
· Attending site checks and group meetings
