About the Role - Your main responsibilities will include:
- Produce placing drawings according to structural drawings;
- Review drawings to ensure there are no errors and that they comply with Canadian and government standards;
- Release bar lists to be used for the manufacturing of reinforcing steel, including length, diameter, and bending requirements;
- Monitor drawing submission schedules according to the project schedule;Communicate regularly with our Technical Coordinators and Project Managers;
- Perform other administrative tasks.
About You – The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Degree or diploma in technical engineering, architecture, or building design;
- 5-10 years of experience in a similar role;
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience specifically in rebar detailing;
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, RebarCAD, or Revit is required;
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work well in a team, and excellent prioritization skills.
