Description

Fleetway's Technical Publications team is leading the development of cutting-edge documentation for the next generation of Royal Canadian Navy ships. We offer a modern, collaborative environment that leverages advanced technology to produce high-quality technical publications.

As a Senior Technical Publications Specialist, you'll play a key leadership role in guiding the creation of S1000D-compliant technical manuals in Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) format. Working closely with subject matter experts, you'll apply your deep knowledge of the S1000D specification and technical publication best practices to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of our documentation.

We're committed to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

Fleetway is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace. We welcome applications from all qualified individuals, including those from underrepresented groups, and we strive to create an environment where everyone feels respected, supported, and empowered to thrive.

We encourage applicants to self-identify if they belong to an underrepresented group, as part of our commitment to equitable hiring practices and fostering a truly inclusive workforce.

If you require accommodations during the recruitment process, please let us know—we're happy to help.

  • Lead the integration of content from various sources—including OEM manuals, Logistics Support Analysis Records (LSAR), and existing S1000D documentation—to produce cohesive and accurate publications.
  • Ensure all technical manuals meet quality standards, are logically structured, and align with customer requirements and applicable specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation reflects the most up-to-date and approved system and equipment configurations.
  • Contribute to a high-performing team environment, meeting project milestones and deadlines while adhering to departmental procedures and quality processes.
