Job Summary

We have begun a search for a QSR shift supervisor/ assistant manager. You are a "get stuff done but helpful" type of person and will be responsible for all aspects relating to the restaurant on your shift including but not limited to customer service, store cleanliness, food cost, labour cost and profitability. You are capable to work alone or with other crew members. You have availability to work days, evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. However, this is a work/ life balance opportunity. Please note this is an entry level full time hr) salaried contract position requiring, preferably, 1 year of supervisory experience. You will work 4 shifts with 3 days off. Then work 3 shifts with 4 days off. Skills required are excellent communication, basic math, reading comprehension, writing, knowledge of computer operation, and Microsoft Office software operation. Intimate knowledge of food safety with food handlers certification and a recent police background check are both required for employment. Free parking is available for your personal vehicle to do emergency deliveries, supply purchases, etc. If interested, please email with your resume and salary expectations. Qualifications

  • Proven supervising experience within retail or similar environments.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Proficiency in POS systems, merchandising software, and basic math for pricing and bookkeeping.
  • Experience in retail sales, customer service, store management, and marketing strategies.
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control, scheduling, and administrative duties.
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
  • Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to train staff, conduct interviews, and develop team members' skills. Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $17.90-$21.00 per hour
