Job Description

Our Edmonton team is pushing boundaries in Computer Vision and Automated Visual Inspection (AVI) for next-generation MEMS devices. What you'll do
  • Own and improve manufacturing processes for cutting-edge MEMS products.
  • Develop and optimize processes to boost efficiency and quality.
  • Build and maintain production databases for smooth operations.
  • Troubleshoot and integrate processes with cross-functional teams.
  • Drive cost reduction and yield improvement initiatives.
  • Apply computer vision techniques during early development phases.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and accurate documentation.
  • Investigate and resolve process issues and non-conformance events.
  • Qualify new equipment and support process transfers to manufacturing.
What you need
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills (required).
  • Knowledge of computer vision methods and software like OpenCV (required).
  • Understanding of optics and camera systems (required).
  • Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot hardware (required).
  • Familiarity with Python, LabVIEW, C#, and SQL (advantage).
  • Experience with MVTec Halcon software (advantage).
  • Diploma or degree in Computer Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or related field (required).
