First Choice Beverage Inc., is looking to hire Machine Operators for the following positions for the nightshift (11pm-7am): production packaging equipment

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Set up, run and changeover of Filler, Labeller, Case Packer, or other equipment as assigned within standards of performance
  • Ensure equipment is supplied with required materials
  • Perform finished product package quality checks as required, report defects; make adjustments/corrections per SOP
  • Understand and follow material management procedures for variance control Maintain accurate records and logs as required
  • Maintain assigned equipment and work areas clean, including CIP to ensure compliance with all GMP standards
  • Perform operator-related preventative maintenance duties on assigned equipment
  • Troubleshoot and correct machinery or quality problems during equipment operations
  • Notify maintenance personnel, other line personnel and management of quality, production, equipment issues/concerns
  • Maintain proper safety conditions of equipment
  • Record required documentation accurately during shift
  • Properly label all containers used in work area
  • Comply with all standard safety practices, safety rules and all Company policies and procedures

Knowledge, Skills & Education

  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
  • Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule
  • Good interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
  • A team player and willing to take instructions

Job Type: Full time- Permanent - No students
