Tungaloy Canada is hiring Technical Sales Specialist – Cutting Tools

Location: Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area

We are seeking a Cutting Tool Sales Engineer who embodies perseverance, professionalism, and a strong desire to continuously learn and grow.

Position Overview

The Cutting Tool Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships, identifying opportunities for improvement in machining processes, and providing technical support to drive sales growth. This role requires both technical understanding and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Identify and analyze customer needs to recommend appropriate cutting tool solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Achieving sales targets and contributing to regional and company-wide growth objectives.
  • Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and competitive products.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites and work closely with them in a production environment.

Qualifications and Attributes

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Manufacturing, CNC programming or Industrial sales.
  • Experience in metal cutting, machining, or tooling applications is preferred.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Grit, determination, and the ability to succeed in a competitive, fast-paced environment.
  • A strong eagerness to learn and apply new technical knowledge.
