Position Details
Rotation/Shift: Monday - Friday at 10 hrs./day
Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Fort McMurray Office (Warehouse)
Requirement: Must be local to Fort McMurray
Responsibilities1. Asset Management
- Implementing equipment management processes and policies across Rockwood companies
- Ensuring global adoption of asset tracking software across all Rockwood companies and divisions
- Maximize equipment utilization by maintaining accurate data in asset tracking software and facilitating equipment transfers as required
- Support the reduction of annual equipment repair costs by monitoring equipment condition and maintenance frequency
- Supporting operations during "peak season" by assisting with equipment ordering, tool crib stocking / organization, and personnel coverage as needed
- Organize and execute rope access equipment inspections (gear pull) as required on run and maintain sites
2. Small Tool, PPE and Consumable Management
- Implementation of consumable tracking through Pangea across all Rockwood companies
- Ensure we are purchasing all supplies and consumables through incumbent vendors
- Monitor shutdown equipment lists and purchases to ensure proper volumes and part numbers are being ordered
- Implementation of barcode scanning, and vendor provided vending machines where applicable
- Ensure goods are properly stored in secure location
- Manage NDT consignment inventory and billing
3. Training existing and new personnel on:
- Equipment management processes and procedures
- Asset management software
- Equipment calibration and inspections
- Safety and Quality policies
Qualifications / Experience
Secondary school diploma with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience in equipment and warehouse management, preferably within inspection or industrial services.
Proven experience managing rope access equipment (harnesses, ropes, PPE, hardware), including inspection, certification, and compliance with IRATA and safety standards.
Strong understanding of Acuren's service lines to effectively support Toolcrib operations, fleet maintenance, shipping/receiving, and procurement.
Knowledge of equipment used in industrial and inspection services, including calibration and maintenance requirements.
Proficiency with asset management and tracking software, inventory control, and procurement processes.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with a strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance.

Working ConditionsPrimarily warehouse-based environment, with regular movement between storage, inspection, and loading areas.
Requires manual handling and lifting of equipment and materials (up to 50 lbs).
Periodic exposure to outdoor conditions and varying temperatures when coordinating with field operations or assisting with shipments.
Must adhere to all safety protocols and PPE requirements in accordance with company and industry standards.
May involve occasional travel or support for field teams as operational needs arise.
