Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team in the role of Kitchen Cook. This position involves providing exceptional food service, preparing meals, and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent customer service skills, and a strong understanding of food safety protocols. Responsibilities

  • Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • ABSOLUTELY MUST have minimum 3 years experience in fast paced kitchen with excellent service record.
  • Positively NO students need apply.
  • Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards
  • Assist in cooking and food presentation to maintain quality and consistency
  • Handle food safely by following proper hygiene and sanitation procedures
  • Manage meal preparation tasks, including assembling ingredients and cooking components
  • MUST know how to operate kitchen equipment such as manual meat grinder, grill, deep fryer equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment, and dining areas
  • Follow all safety guidelines related to food handling and kitchen operations
  • Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow

Skills

  • Experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service setting preferred
  • Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
  • Food handlers Certificate required.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude with customers and team members
  • Excellent understanding of kitchen operations and short order food preparation techniques
  • Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize tasks during peak hours
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving restaurant procedures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
