**About the Role**:
We are seeking a Cook with at least 5 years of experience who excels in working quickly and accurately (experience preferably in a breakfast setting) to join our team at The Speak Easy Cafe. We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible with mínimal training time. Please read the description below carefully before applying. Resumes lacking relevant experience or sufficient experience will not be considered.
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast and lunch dishes according to our menu.
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and meets the highest quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and equipment.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Assist in menu planning and development.
- Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team members.
- Handle opening and closing duties as required.
- Perform regular kitchen work.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a cook in a breakfast or lunch setting (at least 5 years).
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Food Handler Certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Understanding of meal preparation techniques and presentation.
- Should have a reference (from the previous employer)

**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $17.50-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
