The Role: Your Impact
We're looking for a Calgary-based Digital Marketing Specialist who lives and breathes paid media. This is an in-office (hybrid), hands-on role for someone who gets excited about ROAS, CPL trends, and the thrill of a successful A/B test. Your mission will be to manage and optimize campaigns across Paid Search (Google/Bing), Paid Social (Meta/LinkedIn/TikTok), and Programmatic channels. This isn't just about running ads; it's about owning the process from strategy to execution and analysis, ultimately acting as a key driver of success for our clients.
What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)
- Design, execute, and relentlessly optimize paid media campaigns to exceed client KPIs and performance goals.
- Dive deep into performance data to uncover insights, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations for improving ROI.
- Collaborating with our amazing team to ensure your media strategies are perfectly aligned with the client's broader business objectives.
- Being an innovator by testing new ad formats, bidding strategies, emerging platforms, and betas to keep our clients (and us) ahead of the curve.
- Translate complex data into clear, compelling stories by creating insightful reports and presenting campaign results to internal teams and clients.
What You Bring to the Table (Required Skills)
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in digital marketing, with a strong preference for agency-side experience.
- Deep platform expertise in Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager. You know your way around campaigns, ad sets, and all the settings in between.
- An analytical mindset. You have a strong understanding of analytics tools (GA4, Looker Studio) and a love for spreadsheets (Excel/Sheets) to make data-driven decisions.
- A powerful communicator. You have excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- An organizational powerhouse. You have meticulous attention to detail, can manage multiple projects simultaneously, and never miss a deadline.
Bonus Points (Nice-to-Have Skills)
- Hands-on experience with programmatic display/video platforms.
- A working knowledge of SEO.
- Up-to-date Google Ads or Meta Blueprint certifications.
