About The Opportunity
McDougall Energy is looking to fill an
Office Administration
role at our
St. Marys
operation.
Reporting to the Operations Manager this position is responsible for:
- Providing excellent customer service, building quality relationships with customers.
- Answering incoming calls and attending to customer inquiries.
- Greeting customers and discussing the services required or providing information regarding the benefits of our services.
- Ensuring all customer enquiries are addressed and handled professionally and diplomatically, leaving the customer with a positive resolution.
- Collaborating with other departments / branches to ensure full customer satisfaction with the company's products and services.
- Maintaining a high level of product and service knowledge, including propane, fuel and lubricant operations.
- Accepting and processing customer payments.
- Maintaining professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner. Adapt communication style in order to deliver information effectively to a range of individuals.
- Performing other administrative assigned tasks and duties necessary to support operations.
- Perform customer service functions, including overseeing the propane cylinder filling functions.
ABOUT YOU:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent customer service skills, including superior telephone manners.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficient computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organization, time management and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
- Ability to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment.
- Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of clients and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions required.
- A safety conscious attitude, willingness to participate in all required training programs such as the handling of hazardous products, TSSA regulated certifications.
- The successful candidate will be physically fit, able to lift heavy objects on a regular basis (i.e., cylinders and lubricant products).
- Ability to work well individually or as part of a team.
