PSWs/Caregivers needed in Toronto 4-12 hour shifts available

As a Personal Support worker, you will not only be looking after the clients one - on one, you will be a part of an amazing team, that promotes culture of recognition, appreciation, respect, leadership, learning and ongoing support.

We serve the following areas: North York, Toronto, Etobicoke, Vaughan

We are looking to grow our team with caregivers that can pick up assignments/clients on a regular basis, full time, part time, casual, temporary etc. Schedules vary with each client. Various shifts available (days, nights, 4-5 hour shifts, up to 8-12 hour shifts, etc).

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Support client with activities of daily living, not limited to:

  • Assistance with personal care and hygiene
  • Meal Preparation
  • Light Housekeeping
  • Medication Reminders
  • Ambulation of client
  • Companionship to client
  • Ability to follow care-plan
  • Documentation/Charting

Requirements:

  • Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (eg. foreign trained nurse).
  • Current CPR/First Aid training
  • Current Police Record Check or Vulnerable Sector Screen or be willing to obtain one.
  • Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
  • Fully vaccinated against covid (2 doses minimum).
  • Access to internet/mobile phone.
  • Great support and teamwork

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
