Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to join our team in . This role involves providing high-quality care and support to individuals in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care settings. The ideal candidate will have experience working with seniors, people with disabilities, or those living with dementia, and will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through attentive and respectful caregiving.

Duties

  • Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support with medication administration following prescribed protocols
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs
  • Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe environment
  • Monitor health status and report any changes to healthcare professionals or family members
  • Support clients in participating in recreational activities and social engagement
  • Follow care plans accurately and document care provided as required

Experience

  • Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments is preferred
  • Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or dementia care is highly valued
  • Knowledge of medication administration procedures is a plus
  • Demonstrated caregiving skills with a compassionate approach to client needs
  • Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation tasks effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work well with clients, families, and healthcare teams
