Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring food safety, and maintaining high sanitation standards. Your ability to manage time effectively and work collaboratively with kitchen staff will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system, preferably Micros POS, while ensuring all requests are met.
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while adhering to food safety and handling guidelines.
  • Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
  • Manage cash handling responsibilities, including processing payments and providing accurate change.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and serving equipment.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of menu items to provide recommendations and answer guest inquiries effectively.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with POS systems; experience with Micros POS is a plus.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
