Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of food service operations. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that each guest has a memorable experience.

Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take food and drink orders accurately using the POS system, preferably Micros POS.
  • Provide menu recommendations and upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
  • Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling practices.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards during food preparation and service.
  • Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to proper food handling guidelines.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and communication.

Requirements

  • Previous restaurant experience in a serving role is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with the food industry, including food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
