**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Host/Server to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service while managing the dining experience. You will assist in creating a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that every guest feels valued and well taken care of. This position requires a blend of hospitality skills and food service knowledge to effectively support both front-of-house and back-of-house operations.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Take and process customer orders accurately, ensuring all dietary restrictions are noted.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and promotions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils.
- Assist kitchen staff with food handling as needed, ensuring all safety and sanitation standards are met.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash handling procedures.
- Respond to guest inquiries and provide assistance to ensure a pleasant dining experience.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in customer service or food service is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation protocols is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members.
- A proactive attitude towards helping others and resolving issues that may arise during service.

Pay: $21.25-$23.05 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

Additional pay:
