Sales Associate – Schwartz Furniture

Location:  Port Hastings, Nova Scotia

Job Type: Full-Time

Are you friendly, motivated, and passionate about helping people find the perfect pieces to make their house a home? Join our team at Schwartz Furniture a locally owned furniture and appliance store known for personalized service, quality products, and a welcoming atmosphere.

What You'll Do

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting furniture and appliances that meet their needs and budget
  • Provide detailed product information, including features, benefits, and warranties
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting showroom floor
  • Help with displays, merchandising, and stock handling
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business

What We're Looking For

  • A friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills
  • Strong customer service focus and sales enthusiasm
  • Reliable and self-motivated, with attention to detail
  • Ability to work weekends and some holidays as needed
  • Previous customer service experience is a plus—but we will train the right person
