Your Opportunity at SECURE
As our Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for railcar fleet management and tracking and audity railcar repairs and movements.

Work Environment
This is a full time position working Monday to Friday and is based out of Edmonton, AB.

A Day in The Life

  • Maintenance tracking and auditing on railcar repairs and movements
  • Railcar fleet management
  • Payable coding
  • Supporting Logistics team with shipments documentation
  • Generating customer invoices
  • Coordinating and maintaining accurate data and information
  • Working with customers
  • Data entry and records retention

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of related experience
  • Post-secondary education in a field related to Logistics is preferred
  • Basic accounting knowledge would be considered an asset
  • Record management experience would be an asset
  • Previous experience with PeopleSoft or a different Oracle based platform would be a definite asset
  • Prior experience working with CN or CP to waybill and track rail cars
  • Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft D365; Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Railinc knowledge an asset
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Superior interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to provide consistent levels of customer service to internal and external clients
  • Ability and willingness to work positively within a team.
