Job Title: Logistics & Receiving Coordinator 

Status: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Edmonton, AB 

Salary: $50,000 – $60,000

We are seeking a Logistics & Receiving Coordinator. Some of the key functions include: creating and fostering working relationships with key external stakeholders, recording movement of materials and supplies, and coordinating between the production shop, job sites and field staff on the shipment of materials. 

What You Will Be Doing:
  • ​​​​​​Examine shipment contents & compare with records, to verify accuracy of shipment 
  • Create bills of lading, rebar cut lists, invoices, or orders 
  • Record shipment data for reporting and accounting purposes 
  • Maintain reporting documents 
  • Review drawings and information from key stakeholders and enter into aSa 
  • Maintain customer relationships. 
  • Process customer orders and payments 
Who You Are:
  • ​​​​5 years' experience in Shipping/Receiving role (previous experience working in the rebar industry & knowledge of aSa considered an asset). 
  • Excellent math skills (calculations, conversions) 
  • Experience reading Blueprints 
  • Proficient English language skills, strong computer skills and customer service skills 
  • Demonstrate patience and is able to direct difficult customers tactfully, courteously & professionally 
  • Administration or Office Education Certificate preferred 
  • Experience in sales or customer service 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word in particular) and Google Suite 
  • Experience in aSa/Sage software is an asset
