This is an opportunity to significantly impact the company's growth and operational efficiency on a large scale.

You Will:
    • Define the data analytics strategy for BenchSci, overseeing the development and execution of core projects, and establishing governance for documentation and code changes.

  • Oversee complex analytical tasks, including data modeling in dbt, event creation in Heap, code reviews in GitHub, data source management, and quality assurance.
  • Lead the hiring and professional development of the data analyst team, providing mentorship, performance feedback, and guidance on project execution and skill development.
  • Present and articulate complex insights and recommendations to executive leadership and diverse audiences with clarity and conviction.
  • Strategically manage project timelines and resource allocation, balancing proactive initiatives with ad-hoc requests to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders across marketing, sales, customer success, and operations to understand their strategic needs and identify opportunities to enhance our data offerings.
You Have:
    • 7+ years of experience in data analytics, with a significant portion in a senior role.
  • Proven track record of mentoring a team of data analysts.
  • Expertise in translating complex business objectives into a strategic technical roadmap.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills, with a history of delivering high-impact projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and deep experience with data modeling in dbt.
  • Experience with Github and establishing robust change control processes.
  • Extensive experience with web analytics/tracking tools like Heap.
  • Expert knowledge of business intelligence and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker).
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A passion for driving analytical excellence and establishing best practices across an organization.
