Responsibilities:

  • Operate sandblasting equipment to clean surfaces of metal, stone, or other materials.
  • Follow safety procedures when using sandblasting equipment.
  • Maintain and repair sandblasting equipment.
  • Mix and prepare abrasive materials for sandblasting.
  • Inspect surfaces to be sandblasted for defects or irregularities.
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for painting or other treatments.

Skills:

- Time management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

- Industrial painting: Knowledge of painting techniques and materials used in industrial settings

- Hand tools: Proficiency in using various hand tools for sandblasting operations

- Rig: Ability to set up and operate sandblasting rig equipment

- Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and communicate project updates

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
