Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Risk Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks within our organization, particularly in the financial services sector. Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities within the organization.
  • Utilize data mining techniques to gather relevant information for risk evaluation.
  • Perform risk analysis using advanced mathematical models and statistical methods to quantify risks.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies and policies to minimize potential losses.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Negotiate with stakeholders to establish risk mitigation measures that align with business objectives.
  • Create detailed reports and presentations on risk findings, trends, and recommendations for senior management.
  • Continuously monitor industry trends and emerging risks to adapt strategies accordingly.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in financial services or a related industry with a focus on risk management.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in data collection, data modeling, and risk analysis techniques.
  • Proficiency in VBA for data analysis and reporting purposes.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • A solid understanding of mathematical concepts as they relate to risk assessment and management.
