Unimotor Finance Manager

Summary
The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily Finance functions for the Unimotor Division. This role will manage all financial reporting, administration, and product costing functions while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and effective internal controls. The Finance Manager will also provide leadership to the Finance team and work closely with divisional and corporate management. The Finance Manager is a member of the Management Team supporting overall Unimotor operations.
Main Responsibilities
Financial Reporting
- Manage financial reporting systems in accordance with corporate policies.
- Prepare all financial reports for divisional and corporate management.
- Control and report on all fixed assets, including preparing the required RACE for all fixed asset additions.
- Oversee the SOX reporting process, ensuring all documentation is updated quarterly and that controls are in place and operating effectively.
- Provide monthly budget analysis, tracking, and reporting to management.
- Prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and 3-Year business plans.
- Prepare Year-End review working papers for external auditors.
Financial Administration
- Manage the payroll system for both hourly and salaried employees.
- Direct, train, and supervise Finance personnel to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Oversee the Accounts Receivable function, including collections and cash applications.
- Manage the Accounts Payable function, including processing payments to vendors.
- Assist with the administration of the Employee Benefit Program and the Deferred Profit Savings Plan.
- Manage other administrative functions to ensure smooth operation of the business.
Product Costing
- Manage, set up, and maintain the standard cost system in JD Edwards.
- Develop detailed product costing for new business and annual customer price reviews.
Minimum Qualifications
- University Degree or equivalent experience; CPA or equivalent certification.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to interact successfully with external customers, vendors, and corporate/divisional executives.
- Demonstrated experience relevant to the Finance Manager role.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Preference will be given to applicants with:
- Exposure to Oracle FCCS EPM Smart View.
- Demonstrated knowledge of CUSMA.
- JD Edwards experience.
