Job Summary

We are seeking a local part time Office Assistant to support our administrative team. The ideal candidate will possess computer skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience with office management tasks. This role requires a positive individual capable of handling multiple responsibilities, ensuring smooth daily operations throughout many projects along with friendly community business interactions .

Duties

  • Manage desk operations, including greeting visitors and answering calls with professional phone etiquette
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office & Excel , Google Chrome, & Canva
  • Handle general office tasks to support the office efficiency
  • Provide customer support and respond to inquiries via phone or email in a courteous manner
  • Support admin during functions/events, meeting prep work and out of office duties
  • Maintain organization of office supplies and ensure the workspace is tidy and functional

Qualifications

  • Some experience with office administration and customer service roles
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace and familiar with Canva.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle front desk responsibilities efficiently while maintaining professionalism
  • Strong communication skills and good phone/email etiquette
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a sometimes busy environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
  • Must be willing to be flexible with hours and days worked. (Chamber is open M-F 9-4)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 – 18 per week

Work Location: In person
