Sales Account Manager

Specific Accountabilities:
- Establishes and implements strategic objectives for Sales and Marketing in conjunction with the Senior Management Team
- Develops the Sales and Marketing budget
- Manages and maintains a professional relationship with existing Key Accounts
- Creates new business opportunities by pursuing and developing relationships with new accounts
- Performs on-going research in the pursuit of new product development
- Establishes and implements marketing strategies that meet the organizational philosophy "Do It Right The First Time"
- Designs and facilitates implementation of promotional initiatives to boost brand image
Ideal Qualification:
- University degree in Business Administration with emphasis on Sales & Marketing
- Minimum 10 (ten) years of experience in a Sales/Marketing role with at least 5 (five) years in a senior capacity within a manufacturing environment
- Excellent understanding of Account Management, Customer Service and Brand Management principles
- Fully proficient in Excel, Word; and Microsoft and ERP; experience with NAVISION a definite asset
- Excellent diplomatic, persuasive and negotiation skills
- Excellent ability to think strategically and creatively
- Excellent analytical, organizational and prioritization skills, with emphasis on time management and multi-tasking
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
- Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution and decision-making skills
- Ability to work under moderate pressure in order to meet scheduled deadlines
- Team player able to work independently and relate with all levels of staff and Procedures at all times
