About the Role:

We are seeking a CPA or CPA student to join a dynamic Procure-to-Pay (P2P) transformation team in Halifax. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with an accounting or finance background to gain hands-on experience in process improvement and internal controls. Comprehensive training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with transforming Procure-to-Pay processes and controls, including identifying gaps, supporting control design, and implementing best practices.
  • Collaborate with the team on ad hoc finance and process-related tasks.
  • Support the implementation of P2P solutions and enhancements in finance systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • Prior experience in accounting, finance, or controllership functions.
  • CPA designation preferred; CPA students are encouraged to apply.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Fusion or similar finance systems is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Flexibility to support varying shifts if required
