Position Overview:

We are looking for an outstanding Senior Deskside Support Analyst to join our team in Halifax. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality deskside technical support to users via phone, email, or in-person, ensuring swift resolution of technical issues.
  • Move, install, and configure computing hardware devices and components, both new and used, to meet user needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with a variety of hardware and software, performing diagnostics as required.
  • Manage and update support tickets in various systems, escalating issues when necessary, and ensuring timely ticket closure.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of customer-supplied computing devices and related hardware.
  • Install and configure a range of software offerings following documented procedures, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must pass Government Reliability Security Clearance check.
  • A minimum of 2 years of related experience or a diploma in a relevant field from an accredited institution.
  • A+ Certification is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 operating systems, with experience supporting the Office 365 suite of products.
  • Familiarity with VPN and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) usage.
  • Experience with network printers, cabling/LAN technologies, and supporting smart/mobile devices.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes or experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow is an asset.
  • Experience with incident and problem management tools and asset management.
  • Proficient in imaging and provisioning of laptops.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to follow procedures consistently and accurately, while managing time effectively.
  • Comfortable working independently or as part of a team, with availability to be on standby when required.
