Role: Change Management Professional-L2Contract Duration: 12 months
Work Location: Dunsmuir, BC - in office 2 days per week
Max INC Rate: $103.46
Max T4 Rate: $87.68/
• The Change Management Professional Level 2 advises on change initiatives and performs change management activities, enabling successful implementation of high risk or high impact BC Hydro projects safely, with quality, within budget, and on time.
Experience and Role Accountabilities
• A minimum six (6) years of change management experience or equivalent.
• Develop the change management projects and programs by conducting current state and future state needs assessments across multiple disciplines to support the organization through change.
• Develop, deliver, and customize change management activities such as stakeholder engagement, training, and communications by collaborating with multiple stakeholders for the successful adoption of highly complex change programs.
• Establish change strategies and tactics for process, technical, and system changes by using excellent knowledge of change management techniques for large complex environments to support people through change.
• Deliver relevant progress reports with supporting metrics by planning, creating, and facilitating presentations using advanced skills in MS Office to keep multiple stakeholders in the organization informed of project status and change impacts.
• Analyze stakeholder engagement and develop qualitative reports through the course of the project by using databases, information systems, surveys, and tools to track stakeholder impacts and communications delivered so that change management plans are adjusted as needed.
• Act as a change management subject matter expert by advising on best practices, models, and standards to develop internal capacity for change leadership.
Education and Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Change Management, Organizational Development, Business Administration or related discipline
• PROSCI Certification
• CCMP Designation, an asset
• Project Management Technology, Communications, Business Analyst or other relevant business experience, an asset
• Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Advanced English skills for professional environment, written and spoken
Additional Experience and Role Accountabilities
• A minimum three (3) to five (5) years experience in designing, developing, and delivering training within large and/or complex project environments.
• A minimum three (3) to five (5) years experience in working with and leading teams.
• Work with the change lead and communications lead to ensure that strategies and plans are aligned.
• Manage training resources as required (e.g. people, budgets, materials, etc.).
• Develop and perform formal training needs assessment and curricula such as competency profiles, training programs, modules, materials, etc.
• Design and develop training materials such as lesson plans, Instructor & participant guides and materials, exercise guides, job aids, etc.
• Apply BC Hydro guidelines, standards, and templates in creating training materials.
• Work with and/or lead other contributors and review their deliverables to ensure the training materials include the key business change (e.g. process, responsibilities, procedures, etc.).
• Develop the approach to training deployment and delivery.
• Lead and support training delivery (e.g. deliver content where appropriate or enable others to deliver).
• Provide coaching and mentoring to trainers and students as needed.
• Develop metrics and tools to measure and evaluate effectiveness of training materials and delivery including lessons learned.
• Plan and manage the implementation of evaluation tools and corrective measures.
• Develop sustainment plan and conduct handover activities to business operations.
Must have:
Experience in designing, developing, and delivering training within large and/or complex project environments.
Instructional design experience with Articulate 360
Training design, development, and delivery, such as training materials (learning roadmaps, learning presentations, online courses, guides and materials, job aids, etc.)
Develop metrics and tools to measure and evaluate effectiveness of training materials and delivery including lessons learned
Nice to have:
Change management, or communications experience
Develop and perform formal training needs assessments
Lead and support training delivery in person or online
Apply BC Hydro guidelines, standards, and templates in creating training materials
Develop sustainment plan and conduct handover activities to business operations
Experience with delivering compliance-related material, especially related to energy industry, Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP), IT, or cybersecurity
