Your responsibilities will include:

Operating an espresso machine, steaming milk, and dialing-in coffee daily

Preparing espresso-based drinks (latte, cappuccino, etc.) and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards with attention to quality and presentation

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station, dining area, and equipment to ensure a professional environment

Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality

Conducting daily opening/closing duties

Supporting the team during busy hours ensuring smooth workflow

Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including serving pastries and light snacks

Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a customer service environment is required

Previous experience as a Barista is preferred

Strong customer-facing service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers and to deal with conflicts is a must

Passion for coffee, pastries, and French-style café culture

Ability to work well in a team and handle a mix of slow and fast-paced environment

Familiarity with POS systems is a plus

Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is desirable

Food Handler Certificate is a plus

Position Details:

  • Type: Part-time (2-3 shifts/week) or Full-time (4-5 shifts/week)
  • Hours: Morning and/or afternoon shifts (including weekends)
  • Availability: Weekends (after 1pm) and most Weekdays.
  • Wage: Starting from $17.60/hour, with potential raise after probation
