Overview:

Lakeside Psychological and Educational Services ) is a psychology practice in downtown Burlington. We provide assessment and therapeutic services for children, adolescents, adults and families.

As part of our growth, we are seeking part-time and/or full-time psychologists/psychological associates/psychometrists in either supervised practice or fully licensed to practice in Ontario in Clinical Psychology. We are seeking psychologists interested in providing services to either children, adolescents or adults. Supervision is available for those becoming registered with children, adolescents, adults and families (in clinical, counselling, and health psychology) for both assessment and treatment.

  • Opportunities to provide evidence-based treatments using a range of modalities (e.g., cognitive-behavioural therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy, interpersonal therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy, etc.).
  • Opportunities to perform psychoeducational assessments (LD, ADHD, giftedness, ID), developmental assessment, ASD assessment, and clinical-diagnostic assessment. We perform all assessments across the age range (children, adolescents and adults).

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive psycho-educational assessments and evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs.
