Kindercare Wellness is seeking a registered psychologist or psychological associate to join our team We are a private practice located in the heart of midtown Toronto, and we are affiliated with Kindercare Pediatrics, a reputable multidisciplinary pediatric clinic. At Kindercare Wellness, we are committed to providing high-quality evidence-based psychological and psychotherapeutic services and assessments to children, adolescents, adults, and parents.
The Position:
This position is dedicated exclusively to psychological assessments. This includes psychoeducational, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, gifted, and social emotional assessments with children, adolescents, and adults.
The successful candidate may choose to complete the full assessment process independently or supervise a psychometrist who provides test administration, scoring, and preliminary report drafting to support the clinician's final report. We are open to clinicians who prefer hands-on assessment work as well as those who enjoy a supervisory model. Administrative support is provided, and all testing materials and secure digital platforms are available.

- Part time or full-time (Monday-Saturday)

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, gifted, and social emotional assessments.
- Complete the full assessment process independently or supervise a psychometrist who supports test administration, scoring, and preliminary report drafting.
- Lead or oversee clinical interviews with clients and caregivers.
- Interpret assessment data and integrate findings into clear, accurate, and clinically sound reports.
- Provide feedback sessions to clients and families, including practical and evidence-based recommendations.
- Ensure all assessment practices meet professional, ethical, and regulatory standards (e.g., CPBAO).
- Collaborate with administrative staff to support smooth scheduling, communication, and case load.
- Maintain timely documentation and uphold confidentiality and privacy requirements.
- Participate in team consultation and contribute to a supportive, collaborative clinical environment.
Qualifications:
- Registration with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO) as a
- Psychologist (Autonomous Practice), or
- Psychological Associate (Autonomous Practice),
- With declared competence in children and adolescents. Additional competency with adults would be an asset, but not a requirement.
- Previous experience conducting psychological and psychoeducational assessments is required.
- Training and demonstrated competence in psychological and psychoeducational assessments, including standardized test administration, interpretation, and report writing.
- Ability to independently complete full assessment and/or provide supervision to a psychometrist in accordance with CPBAO standards.
- Strong knowledge of ethical, professional, and legislative standards related to psychological assessment, documentation, and informed consent.
- Excellent clinical judgment, written communication skills, and ability to translate assessment findings into clear, practical recommendations.
- Comfort working with diverse clients and presenting concerns.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary setting.
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage timelines for reports and feedback sessions.
- Experience with q-interactive and EMR systems are assets.
