Your new company
You'll be joining a well-established property management and development firm with more than 70 years of experience across Canada. The company oversees over 20,000 residential units and manages more than 1 million square feet of commercial space nationwide. Their mission is to create inclusive rental communities while delivering lasting value through innovation and high-quality property management.
Your new role
You will be responsible for: Managing daily site operations, conducting inspections, and overseeing capital projects while maintaining high standards across all areas and building systems. Building strong tenant relationships by addressing concerns and ensuring excellent service to support retention. Overseeing financial performance, including rent collection, budgeting, variance analysis, and reporting, while assisting leasing efforts to maximize occupancy and ROI. Leading on-site teams and vendors to deliver timely, cost-effective services, ensuring compliance with legislation such as the Residential Tenancies Act, and proactively managing risk. Driving innovation by leveraging tools and practices to optimize property performance and identify savings, while maintaining clear communication and strong relationships with leadership and stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
You will bring a minimum of five years' experience in residential property management with proven leadership in multi-site operations, along with a certificate or degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field; professional designations such as CPM or IHM are considered assets. Possess strong knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act and municipal legislation, proficiency in Yardi and Microsoft Office Suite, and demonstrated skills in leadership, team management, and vendor coordination. Excel in communication, diplomacy, and conflict resolution while being highly adaptable, organized, and committed to continuous improvement. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
What you'll get in return
You will earn an annual base salary ranging from $85,000 - $90,000, plus car allowance, benefits and work from anywhere opportunities.
